Moksha’s own compositions have a distinct sound, although they do
draw inspiration from some legends (but then who doesn’t). Iron
Maiden, Van Halen and Deep Purple are some of the kings that they
look up to.
Their
demo titled “Walk Before You Crawl” has a collection of 9 songs.
They have many more lined up, but recording all of them will take
some time (and lotsa money!!!). As of now, it’s just practice, practice,
practice, and perform, perform, perform.

'Stay' was written by Leon and was Moksha’s first song to go on
MTV. It's one of those cool ballads where girl leaves boy and
U know- the same old shitty scene.

Ballads are not the only stuff that Moksha can churn out. Another
one of their works (in fact this was the first song to be written
and played by them) is also available here. This is pretty heavy.
This one, called 'Chasing My Life,' is about drugs and all that
stuff. This song was released in 1999 by Energie Records.
Composed
and Produced by Christy
Recorded at Audio Media - 1996
Released by ENERGIE RECORDS
- 1999

Here is another powerful one. This song was written by Bryan,
and he talks about wars and killings and its impact on him. The
song has an eerie starting to it, backed up by acoustic guitars.
He goes to the root of the problem and derives its solution.

and Produced by Christy
Recorded at Audio Media - 1997

- 1999

Iron Maiden has been the inspiration for the band right from the
start. The band plays more than 16 Maiden covers at random in
its concerts, including ‘Wicker Man’ from the latest album, ‘Brave
New World’. Moksha started playing a Medley comprising 8 Maiden’s
songs, including ‘Alexander the Great’, ‘Trooper’, ‘Afraid to
Strangers. A part of this mammoth Medley was featured on the Iron
Maiden Tribute Album, ‘Children of the Damned,’ released in September,
1999.
